"It is by writing that architecture is preserved and perfected."
-Leon Battista Alberti
About the Publication
Building a structure brick by brick is physically strenuous; conversely, the pen is a tool used for the elegant practice of philosophy and writing. Thus, How to Build With a Pen is a journal for interdisciplinary architecture essays from a philosophical and narrative perspective. All great art is defined by its ability to tell a story. Architecture is no exception.
New essays are published the first Monday of every month.
